Explore Life, Faith, and Meaning – Try Alpha
Alpha is a series of sessions designed for anyone who wants to explore the basics of Christian faith. Whether you’re brand new to church, coming back after some time away, or just curious about what Christianity is all about—Alpha is a place where you can ask honest questions and have real conversations in a relaxed, no-pressure environment.
What Happens at Alpha?
Each session includes three main parts:
- Food & Community: We start each session by sharing a meal or some refreshments together. It’s a great chance to unwind, meet new people, and build community.
- Watch a Video: After eating, we watch a short video that explores a different topic related to faith and life—such as “Who is Jesus?”, “Why did Jesus die?”, “Why and how do I pray?”, or “How does God guide us?”
- Group Discussion: Then we break into small groups for open conversation. This is your chance to ask questions, share your thoughts, or just listen to others. There’s no pressure to talk, and no question is off limits.
A Special Part of the Journey: Holy Spirit Day
Midway through the course, we set aside a day to dive deeper into the topic of the Holy Spirit—who He is, how He works, and how we can experience His presence in our lives. This day includes extended time for reflection, teaching, and prayer, and is often one of the most impactful parts of the Alpha experience.
Who Is Alpha For?
Alpha is for anyone. It’s especially designed for people who:
- Don’t consider themselves “religious” but are curious about faith
- Have big questions about life and purpose
- Want to explore what Christianity really means
- Are new to following Jesus or returning to church after time away
Whether you're skeptical, searching, or growing in your faith, Alpha offers a space to connect with others, share honestly, and explore at your own pace.
