FAQs

Do I need to reserve a ticket for my kids?

Yes, everyone attending will need to reserve a ticket in order to maintain capacity restrictions for all indoor spaces. (Please select the appropriate age category for each of your kids when reserving tickets.)

Do I need to register if I'm volunteering?

If you are volunteering but still plan to sit in the auditorium during any service, yes, you will need a ticket. If you are volunteering in another area of the building during that service (eg. Celebration Kids or Production Team), you would not need to reserve a ticket.

What if I arrive late?

Please note that your tickets will only be reserved until the service start time. If you arrive late, your seats may be given to someone else waiting in the stand-by line. We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes early for service or 20 minutes early if you will need to check-in your children at Celebration Kids.

What if I need to cancel my tickets?

If you need to cancel your reservation, please do so as soon as possible so that your tickets may be made available for others to join us. You can cancel your tickets by going to your ticket confirmation email and selecting "view and manage" under the Order Summary.

What should I do if the service I want to attend is sold out?

If a service reaches capacity, the registration link will automatically allow you to join a waitlist. If a cancellation occurs and seats become available, you will be notified and can reserve your tickets from there. If you are still unable to reserve tickets by Sunday morning, a stand-by line will available. In the event of a no-show or last-minute cancellation, we will seat from the stand-by line on a first-come, first-serve basis.

COVID-19 Guidelines

How can I protect myself and others?

  • Stay home if you or any member of your household have symptoms such as cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose, or sore throat.
  • If you have a high-risk medical condition, we suggest you do not attend an in-person service.
  • Maintain physical distancing of 2 metres at all times.
  • Sanitize or wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds with warm water and soap.
  • Cover coughs and sneezes and avoid touching your face.
  • Wear a mask in public places.

Do I have to wear a face mask to come to church?

  • In compliance with the Alberta Health Guidelines, face masks or coverings must be worn over the mouth and nose at all times while inside of any Celebration Church building.
  • If you do not have a face-mask, there will be a limited supply available.

Note: No coffee will be served, no food or beverages are to be brought into the building for consumption in the common spaces at this time. (auditorium, etc)

How will physical distancing be implemented in the auditorium?

  • In the auditorium, you will be asked to sit with your household/cohort family with three chairs between each group.
  • Services will be one hour in length to ensure we have adequate time to dismiss in a safe manner and minimize crowds.
  • Socializing will not be permitted in our indoor lobbies. We encourage everyone to socialize outdoors in parking lots and between the buildings while maintaining physical distancing.
  • Arrows will be on the floor to create a flow for foot traffic.
  • Doors will be labelled in order to direct people and limit exposure.
  • Distancing markers will be placed on the floor anywhere we anticipate lines to help maintain distancing.

What are the processes for cleaning and sanitization at Celebration Church?

  • Sanitization stations will be at every entrance and we will require everyone to sanitize when entering the building.
  • During services, high–touch areas will be regularly disinfected (door handles, faucets, toilets, pens, debit machines, etc.).
  • Celebration Cafe will be temporarily closed to reduce crowding and prevent risk of exposure.

While we are doing everything possible to provide a safe environment, anyone attending an in-person service is doing so at their own risk.

Celebration Kids

Celebration Kids will be taking extra measures to ensure that we are keeping families and our Celebration Kids volunteers safe. We will be offering programs for children from 4 months old through grade 7.

In compliance with the Alberta Health Guidelines, Children over the age of 2 will be required to wear a face mask or face covering over the mouth and nose.

Check-In and all classrooms will open 15 minutes before each service starts. We ask that families wait outside until this time. This gives the Celebration Kids team time to fully sanitize touch points and classrooms between services. We ask that parents pick up their children directly following the end of service.

Check-In Information:

  • A team member will take each child's temperature upon entry into the building.
  • Whenever possible, we ask that only one adult per household enters the Dome.
  • Self Check-In is available at safely distanced stations.
  • We encourage all parents to take their children to the bathroom before drop-off.

Drop-Off/Pick-Up:

  • There will be directional signage in the Lobby and Kids Hallway. Please follow all arrows to keep the flow of traffic.
  • Look for the pick-up and drop-off stickers outside of each classroom and please keep your distance from other families while waiting in line to pick-up and drop-off.

Class Information:

  • All Celebration Kids Team Members will be wearing face masks.
  • We will be limiting the number of toys and touchpoints in the classroom. The toys available will be hard plastic that is easy to sanitize.
  • Kids ages 1-6 will be provided with an individually packaged snack. Please advise a team member if you do not want your child to have a snack during class.

Cleaning Protocol:

  • Kids and Team Members will be asked to sanitize hands upon entering and exiting the classroom.
  • Volunteers' and kids' hands will be sanitized before and after snack time.
  • All toys, tables, chairs, counters, markers, bathrooms, etc. will be sanitized between services.
  • The Check-In area, door knobs/push bars, bathrooms, etc. will be sanitized during services.

If for any reason you can’t comply with these expectations we invite you to join us Online.
